'Carbon based lifeform' is about extraterrestrial life, bricks of life and geology. Exobiology in short.
The carbon atom is a fundamental element of living matter, from which all the molecular structures of living beings are formed. Linked to atoms of other elements such as hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen, carbon forms compounds that represent 18% of the mass of living matter. It is the constituent of proteins, lipids and carbohydrates in living beings.

This print brings together scientific and abstract elements dealing with the cosmological and topographical locality of bacterial life forms.

[As the linocuts are hand printed, each one is unique and may have small inking imperfections but nothing that would detract from the overall look of the work. Each order is sent rolled in a reinforced triangular cardboard tube.]
